Personal Pan Pizzas

Thaw a wrapped loaf of frozen dough in the refrigerator the night before pizzas are to be prepared. (One loaf for 8 pizzas.)

Cover table with brown paper. Lightly oil or flour spot where each child is to work.

Spray or lightly oil small pie tins or cookie sheets. Have the children wash and dry their hands and lightly rub oil on their palms and fingers.

Give each of the children 1/8 of a piece of the thawed frozen dough. Have them pat the dough out into a 4-inch circle in a pie tin or on a cookie sheet. Leave at least 2 inches between each circle on the cookie sheet.

Spread 2 tablespoons pizza sauce on each pizza. Let the children select toppings - 1/4 cup total of a mixture of chopped mushrooms, peppers, cooked meat pieces, and onion. Top with 2 tablespoons grated cheese.

Bake in a preheated 425-degree Fahrenheit oven. (Place small pie tins on a baking sheet for easy handling.) Bake 12-15 minutes or until golden. Cool before serving.

Tip: Mark each child's pizza by writing their name on a strip of paper and tucking it under the edge of the crust, or draw a diagram to remember whose is whose.
