“Wheat
People: Celebrating Kansas Harvest” was a special
exhibit at the Kansas Museum of History in 2000. The stories
and photographs from the research for the special exhibit
were compiled into an exhibit catalog. While supplies last,
the catalog – a 64 page paperback book, 8 ½”
by 11”, in full color – is available for purchase
at the Kansas Museum of History Bookstore. The book explores
how the annual wheat harvest affects all Kansans and is
closely tied to the state’s identity.
For
more information or to purchase the book, contact the Kansas
Museum of History.
